In response to the Federal Government New Privacy Legislation that came into effect on January 1, 2004, Canadian Goodwill has prepared a privacy statement  to reflect this legislation.

Canadian Goodwill Industries Corp. is committed to safe guarding the privacy and protection of personal information.

At Canadian Goodwill all personal information collected shall be used for the purpose of establishing and maintaining accurate assessments, program effectiveness and safety. Personal information will be collected by fair and lawful means, and shall be limited to that which is necessary to maintain such records. Personal information shall not be used or disclosed for the purpose other than those for which it was collected, except with the consent of the individual in an emergency or required by law.

Personal information shall be retained for as long as necessary or as required by law for the fulfillment of those purposes for which it was collected. We will obtain your consent if we wish to use your information for any other purpose.

As part of our commitment to ensuring the privacy of our customers and employees, we do not exchange names or any other Personal Identifiable Information about our customers and employees with third parties.
